After a year of careful planning, Factor3 welcomed to Barcelona 200 guests from a well-established Australian bank.

Despite the long haul, these guys came ready to party, and that is just what they did. Barely had their feet touched the ground, before they checked into the W and were whisked off to the Gothic Quarter’s funkiest bar Ocaña, for a welcome function.

A long and deserved sleep was followed by tours over the weekend and on Tuesday the guests enjoyed a Factor3 exclusive, deluxe flamenco picnic at UNESCO Codorniu winery.  Healthy rations of local delicacies were enjoyed with Codorniu wines in the midday sun with a flamenco serenade.

The group then had a day to recharge their batteries before the main event; the al fresco gala dinner at Sant Marcal Castle created by Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany. After a mapping reveal of next year’s destination on the façade and some soulful sounds served up over dinner by our favourite singer, Khaoula, the guests got down on the dancefloor to the signature sound of super deejays Groove Armada. Here at Factor3, we assume our guests are still recovering.

This high-class incentive also included several logistical challenges:

  • 35 minivans from the airport to the Hotel W
  • 35 minivans from the Hotel W to Plaza Reial
  • 200 guests having lunch in 5 different Pintxo Restaurants
  • 200 guests visiting Sagrada Familia with coffee break on terrace
  • 200 guests for dinner in 9 different restaurants
