Interview with Fabrica Moritz

Moritz is, without doubt, one of Barcelona’s most emblematic products. The beer and its logo beat at the heart of the city.

In 2004, Moritz opened its flagship restaurant in central Barcelona, located in the historic brewery, dating from 1856.

The internationally acclaimed designer and architect, Jean Nouvel, was the man in charge of design. He created a spacious, informal restaurant on the ground floor and spectacular function rooms in the basement, respecting the original, industrial elements of the brewery, adding fine touches of stylish modernity. On the first floor, Michelin-star chef, Jordi Vilá wows diners with his creative gastronomy in a more intimate space featuring a modern dining room and smaller function spaces with frescoed ceilings. All in all, a fabulous, singular space offering a fantastic range of options for lunch or dinner.

We are joined by the events team who talk to us about what makes events at Moritz so special and how the brand is evolving.
