Nowadays, we are all aware of the need to deliver more sustainable events by reducing carbon emissions and waste while shifting our focus towards reusing and recycling materials and working with local suppliers and communities in an effort to leave a positive legacy on the destinations we work in.
In this interview, we are in the lovely town of Sitges, talking to Marc Pavia from Barcelona Biosphere, an organisation that promotes sustainability in the events sector by appraising and advising companies on best practice in line with UN sustainable development objectives, as well as bringing like-minded companies together and creating links between the public and private sector.
