Catering Moncho’s Interview
Moncho, aka José Ramón Neira, is a bit of an institution in Barcelona. Despite his advanced years, this hardy Galician continues to work like a trooper, heading up a group of 8 restaurants as well as Botafumeiro, another Barcelona culinary institution.
The catering wing of the company, Moncho’s, serves up honest food with the accent firmly on excellent, national product. No nonsense food, championing traditional flavours.
Here we are at the group’s El Patrón restaurant, with Mireia and Raquel, who are talking to us about the company, its values and the future of catering.
