Case Study – Incentive Programme
To devise a full weeks program of activities, dinners and a full logistics proposal for a group of 800 American guests, most of whom had never been to Spain before.
The menu of 25 daily activities, included different sightseeing tours both in and out of Barcelona, as well as more culinary and active tours, such as wine tasting and trekking.
The dining experiences were designed so guests could learn more about local culture. ´Best of Barcelona´, held at the majestic National Catalan Art Museum, aimed to orientate the them to the city. The famous Ramblas, complete with a life-size replica of it´s Canaletes fountain (running with wine!), was recreated in the entrance hall, and brought with it artists (including Salvador Dalí), entertainers, flower stalls, stiltwalkers, and living and breathing iconic works of art and architecture! In the dinning room guests were greeted by incredible human versions of Gaudí buildings. They then enjoyed a delicious menu showcasing the best of Catalan cuisine, accompanied by fabulous, homebred music and dance acts. As they left the venue, they enjoyed a private performance of the colorful and beautiful magic fountain.
´La Grand Fiesta´, in the stunning Cavas Codoniu, was a celebration of traditional Spanish spirit. Lanterns and flowers created the ambience of a street party and the night included dancing horses, casteller human towers, a flamenco workshop and even a dress-up, photo corner! By the end of the night every guest had a rose in their hair or a castanet in their hand and a smile on their face.
The farewell party was Bermuda themed, in celebration of the incentive destination for the following year. The beach-style scene was set with life-size boats, deck-chair areas and table centres including tropical colored sunglasses for all! A hot band had all of the delegates dancing the night away and ready to earn their place on next year’s trip.
´The whole experience was extraordinary. The hotel was wonderful, the food was excellent, the venues and entertainment were impressive, and we were left lacking nothing. We all thoroughly enjoyed our chosen expeditions because they were operated smoothly and the guides were professional, interesting, and informative. Our thanks to all those that made this such a memorable event.´ A satisfied attendee, Zodiac Pool Systems
